Other Artwork
No sketch. This is a picture I created by chalking the paper and then using an eraser to "create" the image of the horse bucking. I then outlined the horse with a fine tipped black marker.
(05/20/02 - chalk/eraser and thin tipped black marker)

This is one that my SoulMate suggested. A White Shepherd, himself, lounging in a field on a warm day.
(05/20/02 - chalk and markers)
This is a sketch of a butterfly winged foal that I created for a friend's son's third birthday for him to color.

I was in the mood for WhiteShepherd and Kada-Ru to enjoy a nice evening looking at the moon.

I had troubles finding photos of "Moonlit nights" so I improvised with with the ones I did look at and then WhiteShepherd suggested the lighthouse, so off to the internet I went again in search of photos of lighthouses! They were nice but I only needed something simple. So, I put this one in, from my imagination.(05/8/02 - colored chalk, prisma colored pencils and fine tipped black marker)

No sketch. I felt like having a pegasus come running towards us on the clouds in a starry night.
(05/20/02 - chalk/eraser and thin tipped black marker)
No sketch. WhiteShepherd suggested doing one of the "Eraser" pics with a dolphin so it gave me this idea. It does have a couple problems but mostly it is great!

This is another sketch of WhiteShepherd and Kada-Ru sharing a quiet and peaceful time together.
A frisky foal having some fun on the clouds! Why? Because he can!
No sketch. This young unicorn wasn't sure about crossing the waters!

I have been studying the animal art books more too so hopefully one day they will look like the animal I wish them too! This one is "BlackSpots", one of my characters which was a black leopard. I am VERY happy with the way she turned out in color!

(6/22/02 - colored chalk/prisma pencils/black marker)

(Original sold AC2002 - no prints will be available)
No sketch. Yes, another pic of the "Playful Dolphins". I really didn't like how the previous one turned out because of one of the tails, so I redid it and I like this version much better.
(06/29/02 - chalk/eraser and a .01 Staedtler pen)

(Original sold AC2002 - no prints will be available)
No sketch. I wanted to do some other animals besides horses for my "erased" pics, so here is a lion.

No sketch. I looked at a pic that WhiteShepherd had given me to draw. I also noticed, though I am not sketching these 'erased' ones before hand that they are starting to have more detail in them! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

This was my first piece of several furs together. I really liked how it turned out. I colored the characters with Prisma colored pencils and the beach and sky are done with chalk.

The pic to the left is a piece I'm doing for a Christmas present. I colored it on the computer though the REAL one will be done by hand. I know, it isn't anthro but that is ok. Sometimes we have to experiment outside anthro's!!

This is the finished product colored with Oil Pastels, colored chalk and Prisma colored pencils.

This is a piece I was going to do for a Christmas present but, since my son's BD is on Sept 1st, I decided to do it for him now. I will create something else for him come Christmas.

This time I used a new medium, for me anyway. I had some Oil Pastels for several years and just never used them. I knew this one would look great with the pastels so yesterday I practiced a bit on a piece of printer paper with them, to get the feel of them. I really liked how they worked, though I wish they had finer points but that is ok. The jaguar is all Oil Pastels except for outlining. I couldn't get the Stadtler pens to outline over the pastels so I used a marker instead. Wish that was thinner too, but we learn by using. The rocks and sky are done with chalk.

It took me 2 1/2 days to finish just the sketch to get it just the way WhiteShepherd would be pleased with it. He is and so am I. He wanted a pic of his character to have air brushed onto his leather black jacket for a Christmas present. I do aim to please!

I finally created another anthro!

This is a butterfly sketch I did for my granddaughter. She loves them and I will be coloring them in her favorite colors!

Finished piece is located under the 2003/non-anthro section of my main page.

My oldest grandson likes cheetahs so this one is for him. Yes, I know he has spots but I decided to just add those when I color the pic instead of making spots in the sketch as well.
